I've been having a hard time sleeping this morning...why you ask? Oh ya know...my sisters just delivering her first child right now!!! I'm just too excited to sleep! We normally would be there waiting in the waiting room but there is a new policy at the hospital that doesn't allow people to wait in the waiting room anymore because of the stupid swine flu. So here I am at home, Ive been getting texts from Jess all night updating us. She started her 'active labor' around 6 this morning and the doctor says it looks like she will have the baby by the end of today! He also says that it looks like the baby is healthy, no complications with the birth or the baby so far so that is GREAT news. After the baby is born and Jess rests for a bit my sister Emmi and I are going to go up and see Jess & the new baby girl! I cant wait! My whole family would go in together but another policy they've implemented is only allowing two visitors in at a time...kind of a bummer. but anywho, I will take pictures and post them shortly after. More than anything I am just really excited to see her sweet little face. I cant wait to see who she looks like, that is always really exciting. When Donnelly was born she looked SO much like my mom, that is the first thing I thought when I saw her, and even still to this day she looks like her...her smile especially. I love seeing the family resemblance. Oh and I am also excited to see if they choose the name that I suggested :) I wont reveal it now but I think they are strongly considering it. My dad made the point last night that there will be 12 of us in the family now! ... Me, Tony, Mom, Dad, Emmi, Erik, Donnelly, Liam, Ben, Jess, Nathan & the new baby girl! I am so blessed to have a family who is incredibly close & that I get to see pretty much everyday...I cant imagine life any other way...they are what matters.

I think I will crawl back into bed with my husband and try to get some more sleep since I barely slept last night because of the excitement for the new baby...but before I go here's some Room Lust :) Enjoy!

well I have fantastic news if you all haven't already heard. Both Tony and I found out yesterday that our financial aid is going to cover ALL (tuition, books, everything) of our school costs for this whole year! All three terms for both of us! This is a huge, huge relief for us. We are fortunate enough to get some help from our parents but even what is left over is hard for us to afford, I mean...we would make it work because in our minds college isn't an option, its our life right now...but wow, this is & will be a GIANT weight lifted, so much less stress too! I am just thanking God so much for taking care of us like this..basically our attitude towards paying for school and bills was just like...well, we will make it work! God will provide! ...and then He surprised us with the financial aid, what a blessing! Although sometimes its really hard to trust God because you have to let go of your control...but everytime I have gotten to a point in my life and just let it go and given it to God, trust, faith, hope..everything..I have never regretted it, in fact I always ask myself why I don't trust Him more! God is so good, and it really is astonishing how in control He is even when it feels like you are in the midst of a storm..He still has a GRAND plan :) Im so thankful for that.

As Tony and I further our future careers with plans of college and eventually graduate school I begin to think about life after this stage more and more...like settling down somewhere in the Medford/Jacksonville area together, building or buying a home, children...all of it. I can't wait for all the beautiful, wonderful, life changing experiences that are ahead for Tony & I. I love him so much. Tony is such a good man..more and more lately I realize how blessed I am that God created us for eachother and then brought us together about 5 years and 6 months ago :) When Tony and I started dating we both kept boxes with notes, movie ticket stubs, little presents and special stuff we have collected through out our relationship. We started reading some of the notes we would write eachother when we first started dating back in 2004, I was 15 and Tony was 17...wow, all I can say is wow. We were such dorks! Tony and I were laughing so hard last night we were literally in tears!! We called eachother names like "sugarbear" & "cupcake" GOOD GOD. It really is funny and amazing to look back on who we were then and who we have grown into now...individually and in our relationship. And to think what we will be like five years from now? Where will we be...it's so exciting actually..I can't wait for all of it.

I have found more photographs of amazing homes that inspire me! It makes me so excited to have a home someday and hopefully have money to decorate it the way I want...as much as this poor college student thing sucks right now, I know we will be SO happy we decided to go this route...plus we will be doing what we want with our lives, no regrets of "I should have gone to college"...and obviously college isnt right for everyone, I do believe that..but it sure is right for us...I cant wait to look back one day and see that all of our hard work has paid off.

someday after both Tony & I have completed college & are into our careers we will build a house or buy an older house (were talking no younger than the 1940s). It is a dream of ours. But a dream we are determined to accomplish. We want to live out in the country, somewhere not too far out of town but far enough out where we can have quite a few acres..somewhere outside of Jacksonville a little bit maybe. My dream is to have a plantation/southern style home...you know, big wrap around porch, white with black shutters. Actually, there is a house that is just up the street from the home I grew up in on a street called Valley View. It a narrow street with huge trees along both sides. Its beautiful all year round, in the winter when it snows its magical & in the fall when the the leaves are red and orange it is just perfectly festive for that time of year. The summer and spring are beautiful because the trees are blooming and full. But this house, it is a plantation style home (though it doesnt have acres but I could live without if I could have this home) set back a little bit...its white with blue shutters. That house has been my dream home since I was a little girl, it still is...it isnt huge or extravagant, its just ..perfect. I dont know, I just love this home. I look at it and dream of living there someday everytime I drive by, which is about every single day. Would'nt it be a totally God if that home was for sale when Tony and I are looking for a home someday? Anyways, I often look at magazines and blogs and dream of how I want to decorate my home someday. I am gathering ideas all the time...I have posted some interior decorating ideas i LOVE...and of course most of them are vintage & decorated with antiques...only the best way to fill your home..with precious thing that have history and true value. I love that. Tony and I are well on our way to collecting vintage furniture (like our iron rod bed frame circa 1880 and antique shabby chic vanity) and whatnot for our home someday...although we cant have the home quite yet we are still having fun finding pretty things at antique stores and garage sales :) Here's some inspiration I have fallen in love with.

If you liked this post keep your eye out because I will be posting more interior design inspiration like this.
