The baby shower was wonderful! My sister and mom did such an amazing job. Everything from the food to the favors was like something out of a Martha Stewart magazine. It was seriously a dream. It was so great to celebrate the coming of our son with close friends and family. They blessed us SO much. We honestly now have everything we need! Clothes, the travel system, the swing, diaper genie, high chair...all the essentials and so on! My sister even got me a basket of postpartum things including nipple cream, fiber bars, oxyclean, a starbucks gift card etc! haha. Seriously, my sisters rock! Emmi made me my diaper bag and it is AAAMAZING. Better than anything you could find in a store or buy online. My mom made Desmond's crib bedding and we put it together tonight- it looks SO cute..makes me even more anxious to have a baby to put in there! I have to say my favorite gift I have received was from my mother in law. She gave me a little romper and two hats that were Tony's from when he was a baby. It means the world to me that she would give those to us. I cannot wait to put Desmond in them :) You can see pictures of all this stuff including photos from the shower today below. I could not have imagined my baby shower going any better or being any more beautiful. It was such a blessed day. I cannot wait for Desmond to be here so I can put all this wonderful stuff to use!!! It wont be long :)
